Last May I bought a bio cube. Today, (almost 1 yr later) I am now an arc member. I suppose I proved my wife wrong that my attention span has lasted this long. :D

Anyhow, The cube served its purpose, now im in the finishing stages of my upgrade to my 65 gallon I picked up here in the classifieds.

So far so good and the pair of Clowns I purchased last may are still alive and kicking, so I must be doing something right

It's the only addiction I gave up!!! LOL.

I know you all think I have no heart but now I have an ultrasound to prove it. :-)

Not to worry!! You'll be back very soon. If I traveled by the sponsors every work day while having withdrawals; it's just a matter of time. Or in Rich's case, maybe even a matter of moments and he's be jumpin' back in. [Watch and See!!!] --- just my 1/2 cents

Congratulations on the one year anniversary! I think that you will like the 65 gallon.... that was my first tank and there is a lot that you can do with it. Are you planning on moving your bio cube over to the 65 when it gets up and running?

I had the 65 gallon in my basement homeoffice for a few month letting it cycle while I gathered all of the necessary items.(skimmer, reactor, etc)

Last weekend, it took me about 6 hours, but I moved and converted to the 65 gallon (moved the tank, the 70lbs of rock, sand, water, stand, plumbing) Even though it was one flight of stairs, it was a big pain in the neck. That was a much bigger job than I anticipated, but glad I made the switch. Glad I took my time, b/c I think I worked out all of the beginner mistakes.

Looking back. I would NEVER buy live rock again. It just had issues from day 1. I learned alot about hitchhikers and I suppose is what kept my attention.

The 30 bio cube is in my home office where it will grow some coarls and be a QT if needed.

I can see the clowns already are enjoying the bigger tank. I picked up a pistol shrimp and watchmen goby and the entire family loves watching the shrimp dig his tunnels.
