AI Haning Kit Cables. Can you cut them?

I installed my AI hanging kit and there is a lot of extra cord haning down. I wanted to check with anyone that is using this same kit to see how they cut the extra cable(or if they left it)? I am just worried since it is a braded cable that it will unravel after I cut it.

If anyone could share what they did I would appreciate it.

You are able to loop and clip the cable. Why are u planning on cutting

Yes. It helps to have the right cutters which is an aircraft cable cutter. Basically 10" heavy duty with 2 V cuts in the jaws which will snip the cable cleanly.

It helps to put a drop of liquid superglue (not the gel) on the snipped end to keep it from unraveling.

Just to make it look cleaner. Right now I have 4 extra feet of cable hanging down beside the tank.

Thank you for the information. I will have to see about picking up a pair and thanks also for the the tip about the superglue.

We went to home depot and bought the end clips. Its .89 each
