So I just bought a used super blue ai sol. I'm havering a little problem on where to place it or how to place it. I have a corner tank so I thought about hanging it. But the wall it would be hanging from would be slanted. What are your guys idea?

I have mounted them over several tanks. The best way I've found to do it is to have ledger boards attached inside your canopy at the height you want and use their rail to mount & span across those ledger boards (pic attached). Makes adjustment front to back on the ledger boards and between the AI units (left to right) sliding on the rail easy.

If you are running without a canopy, I've mounted from the ceiling. Either DIY or their hanging kit.

Ok so I think I'm going to hang them. I have a canopy but the top piece is plastic. If I do hang them do you recommend taking the glass cover off the tank? Will it cut the sepcturm down?

Sorry for hijacking!
Jhon, now that I see your return I believe that I need to copy your set up. I have two returns on the corners of the tank want to get the "Y" that you have after the valve, before the "45's", just to reduce the pressure on the pump for the return, instead of using a "T" the 2 "90's" for the same purpose.
Where do I get that Y?
Thank you again!

Glass shouldn't impact the spectrum of the AI Sols, but I'm personally not a big fan of glass tops. Glass generally limits gas exchange and traps heat (probably not much of an issue for most of us right now though, but will be in a couple months). I'd recommend using a mesh top - pretty easy DIY.

Oh. I solved that. I cut the back corner (corner tank) of the glass top off. But thanks for the input.
