What is the best way to get rid of Aiptasia? They are slowly starting to multiply in my tank, and I want them gone!!!!

Get yourself a filefish. Get the ugly grey one. The green red tail one won't do the job.

The filefish will also be easy to remove later as they are pretty slow swimmers.

Or you can try the newest hot ticket item which is the laser! LOL

Get a butterfly; perfeft for your tank.

Racoon would do wonders for you.

and this species of peppermint shrimp does a great job! I haven't seen one in years...

Peppermint shrimp - I bought one and he did not do a very good job at it, actually he did not survive...

I used Aiptasia-X with some success, just could not get everywhere. Bought another shrimp and this one does the job perfect, have had him a few months and no more aiptasia :D

Aiptasia x works well on aiptasia and majons. Ive heard other people say no. But ive had good luck with it in the past

I have some pretty impressive aiptasia growing in my sump but I never see the up top anymore thanks to the peppermint shrimp team!

A hypodermic needle and white vinegar does the trick to just got to be careful not to use to much it will drop your pH stab them with it inject no more aptasia or majanos

I've heard good things about bergia nudibranch's but never had the chance to use them.

Luckily, i can still pull the rock out and put a lighter under them for 30 seconds. They don't seem to survive being roasted real good.... you can almost hear their little screams ;)
