The filters came with no instructions.

How long do you guys run new water and discard when changing filters in your RO/ DI systems?

They recommend changing your filters every year even if you don't use it often. I found this to be true and it's a general rule that I go by. I use to check with my TDS meter all the time, but now I just change it every year to be sure. If you check with a TDS meter, you can get up to 2 years worth of production depending on how dirty your water is.

About an hour if you want to play it safe. Once you've run a few gallons, you should be good

I had the unit 15 months Lant and I'm not sure how long the previous owner had it, needless to say it was time to change. It had read .001 forever.
