I live in Birmingham, Alabama. Is there member that have the hobby and live in Alabama. I fill sometimes that I am the only one that have this hobby.

I know there are several people in and around Birmingham that are in the hobby...just not members on here. I've met a few of them down through the years. I work in Birmingham on a fairly frequent basis.

I'm in Opelika but i know there is some hobbiest around Birmingham. If there wasn't there wouldn't be 2 brand new reef stores up there.

ReefLife opened back this summer and is located in Inverness.

Reef Revolution is in Trussville and the Grand Opening is next weekend I believe.

Same distance from Atlanta, birmingham, and Chattanooga. 40ish miles to the anti alabama land down south.

I haven't been to Tennessee in about 4 or so years. Haven't seen an alabama fish store in 3 years now except Langs tropical fish in glencoe, al. Stores I prefer Nemo ' 1 and 2 and Atlanta Aquarium haven't been to the fish store and haven't been in the others in 4 or 5 months.

I commute between Columbus, Ga and Auburn, Al. I go to Bham twice a year. There is/was a LFS there. Typical type. Our LFS went downhill after relocating. I buy everything online or go to Atlanta Aquarium. Rit runs a clean shop.

There is  plenty of Birmingham Reefers. In May there is a frag swap in Leeds. It is on the Sunday after the Nashville swap.  Not sure of all of the vendors at this time but Spikes Corals will be one If them. Usually 7-9 vendors attend.
