Good evening everyone, I hope all is well. So I have a few things going on in my tank right now. I have some pineapple sponges, a small bit of green hair algae, and I still have a bit of diatoms but not as bad. But some new stuff has slowed up and im hoping you guys can help me identify it. Thanks

The white stringy stuff? Thats a bacteria bloom.

New tank?

Either way - keep your skimmer running to help keep O2 levels up and it will self correct as long as you aren't dosing any type of carbon source.

Yes it's a few months old now.

No im not dosing anything right now, I'm not even ruining carbon. All natural doing it's thing!!! I turned it back on this morning, I was only running it a couple days at a time since I only have 3 fish in right now. Thank you flour your help, take care.
