Algae Id

One of my LR pieces has what appears to be a clear algae with tube type openings growing in the crevices on one side of it. None of the snails of crabs eat it and the pods dont seem to mind it either. Any idea?

Sounds like aptasia/glass anemone to me.

I will try to take a pic when I get home today....The tubes are ruffly the size of a #2 pencil in diameter about a 1/4 -1-2 inch long only about three of them. There are no signs of life that I have seen except the pods crawling in and out. Seems almost hollow.
