This is what was told to me and I'm trying to see if it's true here's what was said "Neurotoxins released from the algae is called BMAA and breathing the air around the aquarium can cause alzheimer's and neurological disease"

All thought there is a link to Bmaa and Alzheimer's, is more closely linked to ALS.
It is found in most cyanobacteria, with that being said that means he's everywhere. As is transmitted primarily through ingestion and not inhalation chances are you have more of an exposure from a algae in your kitchen and drinking water than algae in your fish tank.
