algea outbreak!!!!!!!!!!!!! help

so over the last week i have been on the go so much im not sure what i did wrong but i did something bc i have all kinds of it in the tank hair bubble cyno and im sure there is more. how can i get it gone i have it under a blanket with the lights off right now to try to kill the cyno i was told by ansley to do this before and i thought it worked i must not have left it on there long enough so what can i do for the other 2????

Whenever I have a cyno outbreak I do a couple of water changes and it get gone in a hurry. I try to keep a water change schedule but sometime I get off it and when I do I get an outbreak. Hope this helps! Have you tried anything other than keeping the lights off? Let us know and we may be able to help out a bit more.
