First my wife call me at 3 pm and tells me there is a ton of water in garage. Not a huge deal my tanks not in there but my rodi and salt mixing containers are. So she tells me she unplugged this orange cord laying in all this water.So I leave work early to see what the heck is going on.First the leak was my rodi drain got cut in half with something im betting the kids. Next the orange plug she unplugged powers my reeflo barracuda ,heaters and light for my fuge. I look at my 100 gallon Rubbermaid and its really low on water. My sump sits in a closet in the basement and tank is upstairs. next to to closet in a cubby hole in the garage my 40 gallon brute rodi water container . I just got it and the ato set up wed morning. THe tube was a little long it kept filling and syphoning . In the long run my salinity was at 1.29 I was trying to slowly lower it over the next 2 days, but when I got home it was at 1.25 water was at 76 degrees not to bad . In the long run dont work on your reef tank and head to work .

same boat here, i made a couple changes last night and left this morning for a 4 day business trip......
i was back siphoning so if the power or pump blew the sump would overflow. i made some adjustments kinda found the problem and tested it 3 times and it held.....just hope i dont get a call....

Yeah... never adjust anything before you go out of town or within 2 hours of going to bed.
