No. We haven't allowed that. Now that you bring it up though... why not? At least for supporting members I think they should be allowed to do so...
Especially when you have multiple items in a single listing. Most buyers aren't going to scroll through the thread to see what has been sold or not. To be able to edit a post to state what's sold, etc. would be great.

Because I list something, you pay for it, i change the listing, you pick up something different than what you thought - i tell you it's posted that way.
That's why the concious decision was made to not allow any alterations of for sale posts.
Mods can do it at the request of a poster

The reason given supra to not have this feature is pretty weak. All edits are logged and available for mods to review if necessary in the event of some unscrupulous seller. Also, its such a far fetched scenario that it hardly stands imo. So, I think on balance its something that should be available for supporting members. They have vested into the club and it'll be a nice added perk for supporting membership. Market members will not have the ability to edit.
I would hope that most peoples intentions in this group would not be that bad. But I understand the reasoning. I myself have a large post/sale, and have since sold some of the items and would love to revise my list, so people aren't asking me about items that are sold.
I'd assume the alternative is to re-post?
I agree here. The scenario of someone selling something and going back and changing a listing to say other wise is just ridiculous reason not to allow it. R2R has way more for sale postings with a broad community vs. ARC and a closer knit group and they even allow editing.

I understand the reason not to allow editing. What I feel like would help allow editing is only a line through (not completely covering) words for “deleting” anything and words in a different color for additions to the original post. This way anyone would still be able to see the original post and anything new.
I don't have a strong opinion but if I were to vote, I'd vote in favor of allowing folks to edit. The only reason to not was mentioned by @lmm1967 and it's a good one but we have a log of what was done and that would be sufficient to keep people honest. Is it possible to allow folks to delete their posts and not Edit them? Member's request deletion of their posts a few times a week.
