I wanted to retain a decent finished look, and not just use a bulb and hood from Home Depot. This light works perfectly on the back of my innovative, marine, 40 wide, and looks like it belongs. It comes with goose neck mount, manual control and remote control. It does 4-5 different color options. Has a wifi option to for a little extra $

At a depth of about 10 inches of water it measures over 130 par.

$49 bucks for a nice supplemental light. There is also a freshwater version.

Looks awesome. Do you know if it’s full spectrum? How has it been working thus far?

Pic right now. It’s only on at night. image.jpg

I think it’s full spectrum, but not 100% sure. Grows CHAETO like it’s a weed. I have to thin it out every 3-4 weeks.

Don’t believe so…. I do with my Neptune though. You could hook it up to a cheap wall timer for that purpose though.

If it’s for a refugium would I need the freshwater one?
IMO warmer spectrum lights with a good 660nm peak (so, freshwater aquarium lights or better yet, plant grow lights) are best suited for growing macro algae, but the saltwater version works too. Makes sense on an AIO If you don't want the warm light spill to mess up the look of your display tank.

For anyone considering one of these to actually use on a reef tank, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Noopsyche, Nicrew, Hipargero, or Smatfarm are all better lights. I have the Lominie Asta 120 and the color layout on the channels just doesn't make much sense. Hard to get a good look. Also casts harsh shadows because of the lens and doesn't fully blend colors at the edges. I recently swapped it out for a 60w Smatfarm and am VERY impressed with it! Literally my only complaint with it is the mount could be a bit less wobbly.
