Anemone in a ball?

I got home to my anemone in a ball..hes in the same place he was but all balled up and has been that way for the past hour since i got home...is this normal...i noticed he was pooping a little last night..i added another powerhead about 3 days ago but hes been open since i added that

Edit: he just ate 2 days ago and i noticed he was pooping a little bit last night

Edit: i also noticed this in the bottom of the tank..dont remember it before...thats not a tenticle from the nem is it?

Edit: the thing on the bottom is semi pliable..a hermit crab was pulling on it..itd kinda unroll when he was tugging but would snap back to its curly shape when he let go

Anemones close up like that so I don't think you have anything to worry about. I don't have any idea what the other thing is.

well its opened up again 3/4 of the way...still not sure what that curly thing is

Nem close up all the time. It will open up again soon. Nothing to worry about

I have a few nems in my system, and I see them do this from time to time. I think that it is pretty common.

My green one just balled up about an hour ago. It seems to ball up about once to twice a week for a few hours. Can't tell you eh they do it but I know they do. I do know sometimes they deflate to poop.
