Anemone removal

Okay I know it might be in the archives here somewhere but it's just easier to post a new thread and ask.
Who has got all the secrets on removing anemones from the rock, my anemones split but now they're getting a little too big and starting to sting other stuff so I have to remove a few, how do I get them out without breaking down the tank.
Who has got the secret key, please let me know.

Have your tried pointing a power head directly at them, that usually motivates them to move. I know you have Vortec pumps, but if you have a Koralia lying around it usually does the trick. Just mount it where the brunt of the flow is pointed directly at the anemone.

A word of caution tho, it can cause them to move deep inside of the rock in some cases, so try to point the power head in the direction that you would like them to move. Not saying this will detour them from embedding themselves inside the rock, just an observation from prior experience.
