I want to my anemone to sway naturally and was wondering how I could get it to do so? Will one mp10 be enough in a bc29? I currently have 2 Koralia 425 that alternate but it doesn't sway in a natural fashion.

Edit: I am going to automate my feeding with my reefangel and was wondering if there is a particular time that would be best? I.e. when the LEDs are at 100%

One of the problems is that you're trying to unnaturally make it "look" natural. If the anemone is staying put, it's happy with whatever flow you have. They take some time to adjust and will flow different from time to time.

For more random current, an MP10 would be great.

Just be careful with changing the flow with anenomes. If they don't like it, they'll move, and possibly sting and kill some of your coral in the process. There's also a chance that it may hide behind a rock, then you won't get to enjoy it at all. How long has it been in it's spot? Best bet is to let it settle in real well before changing things...

Best of luck!!!

yea an mp10 will be perfect in a bc29 but like everyone said it will probably move if it does not like the new flow

I run 4 Korallia 1500's in a 120. Sometimes I have 2 alternating on/off every 15 mintues to produce flow in different directions, but usually during my peak light cycle I run all 4 powerheads on. The RBTA has never moved from the day I put it in the tank.. The tentacles sway in the flow, but alternating back and forth really doesn't matter. As other posts have mentioned, that is more of a visual thing.

I have a green and red rtba. It has been in my tanks for about 1/2 a year. It currently sits on top of the tank and has grown a lot since I purchased it.

Biggest thing you would have to worry about is "if" it moves, make sure you have your power head intakes covered so it doesnt suck up the nem. Other than that, I say do it.

Many thanks for the video. I like how the anemones swayed. Is that just one wp40?

Its a 90 gallon tank with one WP40. These two anemones are at one end of the tank and the WP40 is at the other end.
