Last night one of my anemones got sucked into my powerhead and my tank got really clouded. We got it out and he seems ok today. He lost some length on a bunch of its tentacles on one side. My question is what would be the best this to do for it? Is my tank going to crash since I couldnt find any of the tentacle pieces ?

Suggest adding carbon and do a 10-25 % water change. This has happened to me in the past and that was what I did - tank did not crash.

My tank is a 55gal and my tank was really low so I added about 8 or so gal yesterday( I didnt take any water out my salt level was high so my LFS said to just add water not take any out) right before this happened. Should I still do the water change and how much should I do?

Adding water would dilute but not remove. I would still do a water change of at least 10%. Also, test your parameters over the next few days

oh and my lfs mostly gave me ROwhen I added water yesterday should I do my water change with just saltwater and no RO? I know thats probably a dumb question but I'm still pretty new to the saltwater world.
