is the lighting in a bio cube the "stock pc's" is that strong enough to keep an anenome in? i have 2 clowns and would love for them to have something to host in instead of the little powerhead thing haha.

Power compacts aren't strong enough for most anemones. Expecially the kind that clowns host in. My clowns are hosting in a frogspawn. You may have luck with one of those. I have another frogspawn under PCs and it's doing fine.

Not to say that Jamie is wrong, but in the BC14 I have seen a bta in the tank. Im not saying to do this but noting that it is possible. I agree that you would need mh's or t5's.

And it's not uncommon for a Condi to change it's mind down the road and eat the clown that it's hosting....not a good choice for clowns...

I've kept RBTAs under PCs as well. It wasn't altogether that healthy but it did stay alive for a year. When I switched to halides it really took off. It's under HO t5s now and is doing even better.

I think majano or aptasia would do fine under PCs though and would probably thrive! :)
