was doing tank maintenance today and noticed this on my rock....help??!!??

I broke it up and looked at this one

I have no idea what that thing is, looks like some sort of clam/mollusk thing but it's wicked odd.

Edit: ive never noticed it moving before now. its just weird!

Edit: Actually, Don't!!!! It's a clam! It cant walk around

yea it looks like some sort of mollusk but im not 100% about that because of the way the shell seems to split at the front end and also how it articulates at the split
