Another ID thread...

Can anybody ID these for me? My tank is on week 2 of the 10 week fallow period, and these have showed up on my glass. I added 1000 (really 337. yes, i counted them) pods from reefs2go about a week ago right before these showed up. They are much smaller than the pods that were added, so I ruled that out. They are about the size of a grain of salt. I'm thinking snails??? Can anybody confirm?

There are about 75 of them, and more show up every day...

Look like small pinapple sponges.

Sponges? Interesting... Never considered that... Googling both pineaple and filter sponges now.

Edit: Hmmm. are these things nuisance or harmless? Should I get rid of them while I can, or leave them be?

What do they eat, turducken perhaps?

Not a nuisance or harmful at all. We all have them. They come and go.
