Another McCosker's Wrasse Jumped!

I think the McCosker's Wrasse is one of my favorite fish but I am about to give up on them. Another one jumped last night and made it through the 1/4" screen top I have totally covering the top. :sad:

It was a female that was on the small side that I got in April.

Bud, I'm sorry to hear that! It's hard to loose a beautiful fish like that. I lost my male McCosker's about 4 weeks ago. I bought another one last week, he jumped 3 times before I could double the crate top. I'm about to pull my hair out! I ordered the small mesh from Dave today. If anyone has any ideas let us know.

I must be lucky with mine. I've had him for about 2 months now and he hasn't tried to jump yet.

I work from home, so I hear them slap against the eggcreate or the canopy if they do try to jump =)

Sorry to hear that Bud. Instead of mesh, get a screen building kit from home depot and use a vinyl window screen, thats what i did for our blue spot.
