another sand question?

i know you guys are getting tired of me asking stuff about sand lol. but all i need to know now is how much do you have in your 90gal. not hom much you have been told is right. i dont want a deep sand bed. just like 2in so will 60#'s be ok? could i see some pics of some 90gal

I think 60 will get you right where you want to be. You can get it in 40 lbs bags, so maybe even just try 40 at first and get any in addition if needed.

A lb per gallon is probably better for denitrification, though, if that is a concern to you.

I dont know what kind of sand you want, but Creation had really good deals on 40lbs bags of carib sea sand a while back. It is dry, but still advertised as 'live' I think. Not sure how that works. I got 2 bags and it is really nice, not too fine, not too coarse.

im wanting to go with black sand. any of you guys have black sand? if so can you post pics
