Anthias: Which one to purchase if i want a trio?

So now that ive upgraded tank, im looking for a trio of anthias. Any suggestions as to which ones to go with? Anyone specifically harder to keep than another? I know very little besides what i read so i figured i pick yalls brains.

Easy ones are lyretails, bartlets or disbars.

Id go with i trio of lyretails for your tank, personally. I have two lyretails now, ill be getting 3 more along with 5 bartlets. Thinking of doing a few disbars as well....

I like the Bartletts, the best, personally. I'll be doing four of those in my tank once I get it set up.

oh yeah i forgot square backs. but the reason i listed those types is because they will take to eating pellets pretty easy and can acclimate to being fed once or twice a day.

Other species are much more picky and will need food more often.

IME, the Lyretail and Bartlet adapts well to once a day feedings. I have not had good luck adopting Square Spot and Purple Queens...

Thats the killer for me having to feed something a few times a day.

purple queens I avoid like the plague, squares are fine though.

as far as feeding goes. Once they are on pellets, just get an auto feeder. My ehiem one has been feeding pellets twice a day for 3 years no with no problems.

I'd love to add some Anthias to my 180 once it gets setup, but people keep advising against it because they're a pain...

Is it really THAT bad? I definitely want some fish that are likely to stick together and I've done the Chromis thing... no point in buying 6 or 7 to end up with 1.

LOL, I bought 12 at my LFS when they had them for $2 each and eventually ended up with 0 after 6 months.

and hey whats wrong with chromis? My 16 school and have been doing good for 6 months now...granted i started with 34 of them and was down to 16 after 3 weeks but hey Im still close to the 50% average
