Do all anthias require the higher frequency of daily feedings? Such as 2-3 feedings each day? I read on aquacon that Bartletts did better than other anthias with less frequent feedings. Any advice? Any problem keeping males of different breeds in the same tank?

I currently feed twice daily. I assume that would be sufficient, however I worry when I leave town for the holidays and vacation and the fish are subjected to 10-14 days of daily feedings.

I have two female lyretails. Feed two to three times a day. Depending on how busy I am. There has been a day or two that I was out of town, and my brother neglected to feed my fish. They survived. I'm sure they ate like pigs the next day, but, they were alright...

They are so active, that their metabolism may be a little higher than other fish, but, I kind of look at it like an athlete. He may eat multiple times a day to maintain his fitness, but he won't die if he cuts back to one big meal per day. He may get fat and lazy, but, he won't die...

Not sure how two males of different species will do in the same tank. Seen several fights of this kind of youtube.

I love my anthias, but they are an hornery species... They don't bite or nip at my other fish, but, they swim right up to other fish, get right in their personal space, flare up, and just sit there just to make the other fish uncomfortable...
