Hi, my Emerald Crab has white blotches on it's shell. The crab seems to be healthy and eats like a pig. Everything else in the tank is doing good, and water parameters are decent. I don't dose for iodine. I did a Google search and noticed others have had the same problem and it doesn't seem to effect the crab besides the spots. Anybody know what may cause this? I was thinking molting, and others thought that it wasn't eating enough algae and it's green pigmentation was fading.

Here is a pic, note my Scooter Bleeny below the crab.

Thanks,

Schwimm

Dakota, that is what I am thinking as well. I forgot to mention the white blotches have been like this for 3 weeks or so.

Thanks,

Schwimm
