I got this thing on a rock of gsp about 2 weeks ago. It's stayed the same color but has definitely gotten bigger and a lot less limp. Its really jellylike but I also don't see any arm movement or anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks more like a hairy green mushroom that's been light starved to me. Rhodactis sp. of some sort. I've also seen them white when I remove a large one from a piece of rock and left a little bit of foot behind. When it first starts to grow, it'll be really white (clear?) for a while.

You are both right! Green hairy mushroom. Mushroom corals aren’t really corals, even though we call them that. They are anemones.

Heh. Yes that frag was next to a green hairy mushroom at one point.
