Just bought a 180 gal tank (used) I am going to clean the stand and tank well before installing in my house.
It came with 2 fish 1 Maroon Clown and a goby, would any one be interested in storing them for me till I get the tank set up? ( I would pay you for this)

IMO you should just go ahead and set up a quarantine tank. Everyone should have one anyway, and it will do a dandy job of housing your fish. Just keep tabs on their water quality... they will in all likelihood be in their temporary housing for several weeks while your tank cycles.

Thank you, would a standard aquarium work? I have a 3 gal that I used to have gold fish in would it work?

Here's a good article (written by one of our sponsors) that should tell you what you need to know:

Normally a ten or twenty gallon is in order. Whatever you put them in remember to move the cycled rock in with them and use some of the stability to prevent a cycle. A 3g is gonna be kinda small. Nice meeting you yesterday by the way. Maybe you can find a place to hold them until you get set up.

Thank you for the reply. Got to decide what to do. The clown just ate some food and is swiming very good.

John it was nice to meet you,

John has a nice shop and a super cool guy, hope to do bussiness soon.

Ordered the NOVUS cleanning stuff off Ebay. Hope to have it in 2 days then I guess the work will start on the 180 gal tank.
