Any tech savvy apex folks here?

I have a classic apex head unit that won’t power on. Tried it with known good eb8 and known good aquabus cable. Even tried using the aux power. I’m guessing it took a surge? Opened it up and don’t see anything obviously black from too high voltage.

should I just toss it or is there hope?

If it’s an old brain I would toss it (A1) You can get them fairy cheap and the labor involved might not be worth it. Probably find one on market place for 50 bucks.

Gotcha I asked Neptune and they said the same thing but figured I’d ask just in case they were just pushing units lol.

I wouldn’t toss it.
It may be something simple.
I would offer to take a look, but rarely get out near Villa Rica.
Maybe someone closer, with an electronics background, will offer?
