I've got a Leopard wrasse in a quarantine tank. It's been there for about 30 days now and is eating prepared frozen food well. I'm thinking about moving it to my display tank soon. I'm thinking of using an acclimation box inside of the display tank for it. I'm guessing I'll need to put sand in the acclimation box for the Wrasse to sleep in. Any tips?

If you are worried about aggression from the existing fish, the best solution is this: Buy about 4 inexpensive 12x12 mirror panels (I ordered from Amazon) and tape them to your tank exterior. The existing fish will go BANANAS and flex all over the "intruders" that they see in their reflection. Then slip your new fish in, and the new fish will have a few days of peace because everyone is preoccupied with the invasion. Take mirror panels down after 48 hours. Everyone good. I have found that to be much better than an acclimation box which doesn't really calm the existing fish.
