Anyone ever use these? I'm very intrigued by them

It seems to me this would make plumbing reactors and UV's much easier if using silicone tubing. thoughts?

First I'm seeing those, pretty cool and can come in real handy for doing maintenance. Do you know if they stop the flow when disconnected?

yes they stop immediately when disconnected from what I have read. I think I'm going to get a few and try them out on my UV sterilizer and my carbon reactor.

Read the reviews. The first one (pretty positive) doesn't recommend for close loop applications like the UV sterilizer.

I use those for reactors off of my manifold. They do cut flow upon disconnection. I like them, even though they are pricey.

I used them to upgrade the flush ports on my boat, they work great. They’re made by Colder Products. I ordered them from freshwatersystems.com which saved me some money compared to the boat upgrade sites that offered them in a kit.
