I just bought a 25g cube with slim center overflow on the back wall. The tank is drilled on the back, not the bottom of the tank. The 90's on the inside are threaded into the bulkheads and cannot be removed due to the compact nature of the overflow itself.
My problem is that the bulkheads were put in with the drain under the return. This makes for about a 6 inch drop from the top of the overflow to the drain, which will be quite noisy. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can work around this? I am considering just hooking it up as a closed loop but that is not ideal.
