I just flooded my living room......I cane home from work to find that some how the durso apparently stopped up.....(found no snails)....and caused my ATO to pump out about 8g of fresh water into my tank....which pump into my return section on my sump.....and overflowed the tank and then somehow overflowed the sump as well.....WTH!?!?....so I disconnected my ATO....and got a bunch of towels.....I still am completely unsure exactly how it happened.....but maybe the Matrix bag and Seagel bag in the filter sock stopped up somehow.....but I've had them in the sock or the last 3 months.....changings socks of course....but I wouldn't think that would slow flow so much that it would overflow.....


Within 30 minutes at that.....my gf had just been downstairs and in the living room and hadn't seen any water or anything out of the ordinary.......****!!!!!!!!!

Everything seems to be ok...I still can't seem to figure out exactly what caused it....I'm just having to go with the bags in the filter sock slowed the drain enough somehow to kick on the ATO and overflow the tank.....I have a extra 5g of salt water...so I'm about to chk salinity and do a water change to see if I can get it back up if needed....all SPS are open still and nothing seems to be out of spec....I just really wouldn't think that the filter sock could clog up that bad and that fast.....I just swapped it out this A.M......so I guess it would have had to be the media bags in there got pushed around......shizen!!!

Yeah SG is at 1.023.....not to bad for having that much fresh water dumped in.....guess with evaporate over the night and some tomorrow it'll be back to 1.026.....then I'll hook the ATO back up......blah!!!!!!
