Hello, I am in need of a PAR meter. I have two se 175w 10K metal halide bulbs that i need to check out. I have a green birds nest coral that has lost it's color (brown now) as well as a german blue acro (light brown).

I have two 20K bulbs on the way to see if that will brig out the coral's color. They seemed better when i had the single 14K than they do with the dual 10K.

The bulbs are plusrite brand and i would like to see if they are doing any good. If not i'll be looking into buying a better bulb such as ushio, xm, ect in the 14K range.

The plusrite bulbs are driven by Advanced magnetic ballasts with parabolic reflectors. I just want to see if the problem is my lighting and not something else.

I have a TLF phos reactor with rowaphos, cheato in the fuge, coralife RO unit that produces 0tds, 8.5dkh, 8.0-8.2 ph, 78-80 temp, mag of 1550, and lots of water movement.

thanks
Jason
