anyone have a spotted mandarin

anyone have one of these and want to share the in's and outs of them? what and how do you do your copods? do you use a filter soc? or a sponge on your return pump?

I let my tank run for about 9 months before I got my mandarin. I do use filter socks. That cheato I gave you should have a good population of pods. Hit your tank with a red light aftet the lights ate off for a couple hours and you will be able to see many pods. If you dont see any IMO thete ate not enough. They do sell live pods bagged though if you need them. Return pumps wont hurt them. Just shoot them to the dt like a extreme water slide.

Pure Reef sells bottles of them as well. They get them from a local breeder I think.

I dont think they would make it thru a 25 micron filter soc or the sponge filter on the return pump.
