I'm looking for a new skimmer for my 92 corner and I want something that is a little overpowering but still small enough to fit in the sump. I was researching the tunze doc skimmers, has anyone had any luck with these?
I have one on a 125 and it seems to have skimmed very well. Skimmate has dropped off a little lately which probably means I need to check the air input. I used to pull 1-1.5 liters a week of wet skim and clean the cup of really nasty poop once a week. Jenn from Imagine Ocean has seen it in action and could better compare it to others she has seen.
If you decide on it, I can give you a good deal on the one I have sitting in the basement. I used it on my 80gal for over a year and since upgrading it is sitting in the shelf.
