I have never seen one like that, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. there are a lot of colors of zoas, but IMHO, it looks too good

I've taken amazing shots of zoas before that weren't PSed, but adjusting the camera settings can have some wicked affects. I also have zoas that look totally different in pictures than with the naked eye.

i remember i saw some ducans for $85 a polyp

That has to be chopped or at least shot in the best possible way... I have seen some brilliant zoos, but never anything even close to that.

I think we need to make it a standard to have the substrate or eggcrate in the picture with the frag. Ive seen some pics where people had orange and pink tinited eggcrate on the zoo frag pics.
Im bad at taking pics apparently....my tank never looks as good on my camera as it does in person.

mine is also alot better in person than with pics, i got a kodak easyshare z710 with all kinds of buttons that i don't know how to use and this is the best that i can get but this is after 1 hour of trying and playing and by the way that is on ebay when u type in live coral in the search when u skroll down u will see it i have always wanted to buy but just being cautious

The blue striations in the middle are too defined for one. And, the skirt on each polyp is perfect. You can actually see between the individual skirt on each polyp. Normally in a pic that is not altered you will find blurred areas where there is fine detail in the picture, such as the middle striations. You should be able to see some of the striations, but never all of them. IMO the pic is photoshoped.

I have bought lots of Zoas off the web and most of the time they look close to the pics once they arrive. But llike everyone has stated before, depending on the4 camera work, lighting etc is how they turn out. With a nice microlens you can take some amazing pictures. Do online stores PH their photos...yes probably. But that's the risk you take from buying site unseen. I look for WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) and if I don't get what I see then I definitely will not order from that online store again. Anyone can use photoshop and if they do I can promise that they won't last long selling corals.

Where'd the pic come from?

It's possible that it's photoshopped, but not necessarily. There are some very vibrant zoas. Take these for example:
http://zoaid.com/index.php?module=Gallery2&g2_itemId=2412">http://zoaid.com/index.php?module=Gallery2&g2_itemId=2412</a>

Personally, I'm always VERY disappointed by the way my pics come out vs. what they look like in person. My polyps are much more vibrant by eye vs. pics. Plus, I think I need a better lens for closeup macro shots.

I'm just gonna throw my 2 pennies in the mix here, I dont think it was photoshopped, it might have been brought in there to bump the brightness and gamma a tad, but if you look at the white part of the zoos, there is hardly any color swing in there to provide enough support of tampering.....if there was color adjusting that white would be a totally different color (ie. blue or green).....unless they took the time to mask out all those white areas just to show them off, I dont think so. If youre worried about buying them and they arent tru to that pic, ask the seller to give you another pic thats pulle dback more so you can see other things around it, if they wont do that then its safe to expect foul play.

If you don't believe they photshop pictures then here is a bargin for a very rare zoa just for you! These are MercZoas! Only $300 a polyp!
