The wizard is a pretty easy setup, but lacks some of the flexibility for customization. The RA is VERY customizable, but you have to work a bit more to get at anything that is not part of the Wizard. Company support has been great and the online community is strong and very helpful.
My bottom line is that if you are a hands on DIYer and tinker and are comfortable around computers, electronics, etc. You'll be pretty happy with RA. But it isn't a plug-and-play set up like Apex line, you have to roll your own a bit more - which of course is a plus for many people (like me).
I have both RA and Apex running - I need to do a side by side comparison write up one of these days.
