Anyone hooked up Waterbug to Apex?

I've purchased a couple of waterbug sensors but now I'm finding out that I need the controller. That being the case, if you have multiple sensors connected through the Waterbug Controller, are you able to tell in Apex which sensor triggered the alarm? I can't think of how the Waterbug Controller would actually be able to communicate the exact sensor to the Breakout Box.
