I am debating doing a colony of Frontosa's. I would rather not order them off of aquabid or something if I can find them local.

Check over on Atlanta Area Aquarium Association...there's a member named CHOPPER (Marty) who may have some. Otherwise, take a look at Reserve Stock Cichlids.

If Marty doesn't have any he's looking to get rid of, check with Atypical (David) and see if he can get you some in.

Will do, I got another guy looking into it for me as well. I'd just prefer to get them locally. Maybe it's because I have always done saltwater but why on earth are freshwater fish being offered priority mail.. Do they make it being shipped two days??

Bob's Tropical Fish in Augusta. He's been there for several years and is whom I used to buy African cichlids from. My mother still purchases her's there as well. He carries a huge selection of them. If interested call and speak with Byron as he handles all the cichlids.

Depends on how far they're being shipped...I got a colony of shell-dwellers shipped priority from western Alabama and it was three days before I received them. I only had one casualty.

Yea, I saw them. Unfortunately I can't see dropping $900 on a colony. I'd rather get smaller ones right now anyways.

My mother will be trading in a rather large male Frontosa in a couple of weeks. Gorgeous, but a mean SOB....
