Mine are still on the hood set up but i rarely run them.

Getting harder and harder to source lamps for them. Pretty soon the T12 will be no more.

I'm still using T12 VHOs. IMHO, the actinics still provide great color.

And I agree with Jenn; they are getting harder to find.

It's not just VHO T12s that are going away. ALL T12s are. Even people with old timey light fixtures that took T12 are having to replace with T8 or T5 (even normal output T5).

Eventually you won't find T12 of any kind anymore. I think they've been outlawed or something.

i have some that were given to me. come and get them.i'm about ready to throw them away. most are for 48' fixture but a couple are for 24's. i was told they had about 4 to 6 months on them.

Thanks to Al and all his "Global Warming" friends they are being phased out. Manufacturers will no longer be allowed to make them. Same as the incandescent lamps you use throughout your house. T8 and compact fluorescent are the most widely used for general illumination however T5 is coming on stronger every day. But the real future is LED or Plasma.
