Anyone tried Maxspect Bio-Speres Filter Media?

If you can believe the hype, each spree is supposed to filter the equilvent of 10 lbs of live rock. Thinking about switching from Seachem Matrix to save space in my sump, but wanted to get opinions if anyone has tried it

I can honestly say that the first turn off I had regarding this product is this is the same company that brought us the Gyre, which that seems to be a over hyped money pit!😛
