retrofit kit in a biocube 29??been thinking of doing this mod and would like some feedback..thanks!!

I bought the solder less rapid led kit for my 29cube and had nothing but problems with the solder less connections coming off and causing lights to go out. I've heard the kit that you solder yourself is great but I would advise not buying the solder less kit. I ended up throwing $300 dollars down the drain.

I got the 29 kit from them and love it. I agree with jballew268 to some extent do not but a "solderless" kit and expect to completly avoid soldering.

This is what I have done with my 29g biocube. I love the light for almost half the cost.

FWIW, I've had the same kit for months, and I could barely get the connections to come loose when I wanted</em> them to, much less them coming apart on their own
