I think they are still doing the dollar per gallon sale. I know they have done it 3-4 times a year in the past. Just curious if anyone else has been on the lookout.

Tanks. I think up to 40 gallon is $1 per gallon and anything larger than a 40 gallon is half off.

Actually i think it's 29 gal or less is $1 per gallon, bigger tanks are 50% off of something like that. I was disappointed when I showed up expecting a 40 breeder for $40

Nothing advertised or marked in store when I was there Monday!

They run it three times a year, ( I think for two months each time), it's a dollar per gallon for 10, 20, 20L and 29. Half of for 40B and 55, that was $50 for the 40B last time.

I just looked back, I posted a screenshot on March 6 of the ad last time it came out, in Reef Discussion.Screenshot_20190606-201227_Chrome.jpg So if I'm right about three times a year for two months, should come again in July it seems like.

They stopped doing $1 per gallon on the 40B and the 75 gallon tanks two and a half years ago. I got a head up from the guy that it was their last time offering it and bought a 75. I regret not buying 2 and a 40b

Ad above shows they are still doing the 40 gallon as 50% off. I’d be happy to get a 75 gallon at 50% off

I'd love 50% off on a 75 too, online price right now is $190, they have $30 off and free 2 day shipping on orders over $100 right now. That would be $171 with tax, can't pull the trigger on that.

I got 75gallon when they had sale I paid $110 for it but all of there 75gallon tanks are non drill able FYI. That if anyone was wondering

I was talking to a worker at Petco(one of the most knowledgeable ones I've ever met) and he said you have to check because some of them you can drill in some of you them you can't If you get the serial number off of the tank there's a way to look it up online or you can just check it with a cell phone and a polarized pair of sunglasses.

If you're not sketched out by out, sometimes you can do even better on Craigslist. I got my very first setup, a 60 gallon long, with a sturdy stand with cabinets, canister filter, lighting, and extras, for around $120.
