has anyone ever used uniseals??

I have those on my recirculation mod skimmer. I didn't do the work though. Cameron did.

What did you want to know?

do they work to keep a seal and keep the water out? because when i drill my closed loop for the new tank i was going to put them on but if they dont work then i will have to do something else

uniseals are used on all skimmers. never had an issue with mine.

i just talked to the guy at bulk reef and he said that i should just get the bulk heads and i will be fine. i was going to use the uniseals in place of the bulk heads

Uniseals are used more on curved surfaces. If its flat (which I would hope the tank would be), use bulkheads.

I used a uniseal on the barrel that I keep saltwater in because a.) it's curved, and b.) I can't get to the inside to tighten a bulkhead. It works fine, but if it were my tank or sump I'd use a bulkhead.
