Over been really wanting some for my 90 gall reef tank. I think it looks pretty cool. Has anyone experienced any problems with it I should know about

Yeah, don't put it in a tank with tangs. My yellow tang ate up all mines after two days. lol

It's still an algae and with a tang, It won't last long. My yellow tang was only about 1.2" to 2" and it killed it with the quickness.

I've had it for years with no issues, its fairly slow growing and non-invasive.

Although when I put some in the tank with my sailfin tang its gone before it can hit the bottom.

I keep dragon's breath and gracilaria in my fuge, and put a bit in an algae clip a couple times a week. My Scopas and Powder Brown love it. I kept it in a 'tangless' tank for awhile before it ended up in my fuge. It grows relatively slow, but is pretty.

IMO all red macros grow slowly in comparison to heavy nitrate burners.
I received some dragons breath from clay a few weeks back and I have 2 starters of other similar red macros I think dragons breath and red flame , also red palm macro and it grows stupidly Slow.
I think that's the key to them not growing out of control.
