I hope to get the parts today to modify the hood on my AP24 from 64W to 96W. Right now I have the 2 stock 32W PCs, dual actinic and dual white. I'm going to add a third bulb and am not sure what the best bulb would be. My options are: Another dual white, another dual actinic, or a combo white/actinic? Any help and ideas would be appreciated.

At this time I only have one fish, Gold-stripped Maroon, but that will change later this week when I add a six-line wrasse. I currently have a Frogspawn, various zoas, mushrooms, xenia, clove polyps, candy cane and a kenya tree. All my corals seem to be doing great at this time.

really all depends on your feel for the light. you could add a 50/50 to get a mix of what you have now. Or you could go with a dual 10K to get a lil more growth. I wouldnt do another dual actinic personally cuz it might be too blue and its not going to help growth. Keep in mind tho adding a dual 10K or a variation like that will yellow the tank some....so maybe a 50/50 would be best...??

Bud...I have the 150 HQI on mine and really like it. It is open top though which would be a change (I do use the glass top).

You can grow almost anything with the 150...even keep a clam if you want.

Thanks, Loren. I'm really happy with the softies and few LPSs so I'm just going to add a little light for now. Besides, I'm already planning my next tank and need to save some money.
