Apex Aquabus cable!

If I want to add an extra eb8 to apex controller, I have to use the special aquabus cable from apex or I could use a regular USB cable?

You can use USB. Just make sure there is not a inline booster on the cable.

If it's a simple UBS cable, you are good to go.
A booster is something that 'boosts' the signal for longer distances.

What you need is a USB cable with the flat "Type A" connector on both ends, which is somewhat uncommon.



Most cables will be 12' and under, as the USB design spec requires boosters for longer cables.



Apex devices use the USB cable format, but they're not actually USB devices, so cables with boosters won't work.
