Apex auto to off

Can the Apex top off be used backwards. so that if a tank level gets to high the Apex will shut down the preturn pumps. If so how do i wire the float switch on the breakout box of the Apex.

You'd wire the float switch the same. You'd have to give it a different set of commands however. For instance normally you'd have the float switch programmed to add water when the switch is in the closed position (sump is too low, sensor on switch is all the way down). For what you're trying to do you want the apex to shut off return pump when the float switch is the open position (sump is too high, sensor on switch is all the way up). It's a programming change and not with wiring.

No need. Just change the statement in the apex. You're just dealing with:

IF switch open/closed outlet on/off

If you need float switches I just bought 10. I got a few spares.
