I think you'll like it. Everything is easier with updates and functionality is a little easier too.

Unless you've got a need for a new feature or the Classic dies I'd wait too. I bought mine in the window where you could still get a good buck for the classic and got almost $500 for everything I sold.
I still use wired for the primary connection though and wireless is for a backup to the wire/switch.
