Ok, for those who have HOB Aquafuges wth the skimmer built in.
You may already know this but when using the MJ1200 with the venturi mod and are not happy, as I am/was, with the output of bubbles to skim...
Soak the mod in vinegar and clean ALL slots on the side and on the bottom that plugs into the MJ. The least bit of build up will hinder the performance of this dramatically.
I cleaned it the other day (thought I did) and still did not skim like I thought it should...Soaked it last night for an hour and made sure all was clear...WOW Talk about fulling that chamber with microbubbles...NIGHT and DAY Difference
So, for those who have been using and know this information this is a no brainer...Those who have not..GO CLEAN YOUR MODS!
